Swire Shipping chooses Katalist for Voyage to Zero

Swire Shipping chooses Katalist for Voyage to Zero

Swire Shipping, a leading shipping company in the Asia-Pacific, recently launched its carbon insetting programme, Voyage to Zero, to help customers decarbonise their supply chains.

With the launch of this program, Swire Shipping is providing its customers with a tangible pathway towards reducing their Scope 3 emissions.

This partnership marks another important milestone in the journey toward zero-emission shipping. By leveraging the Katalist registry, Swire Shipping will gain access to a trusted digital infrastructure that verifies, issues, and transfers Sustainable Maritime Fuel Certificates (SMFCs) - ensuring full transparency and traceability in the decarbonization process.

As one of the region’s most established carriers, Swire Shipping continues to lead by example, integrating sustainability into its operations and supply chain partnerships. Through the Voyage to Zero program, the company is helping to establish a replicable framework for sustainable fuel use - one that connects verified emissions reductions with transparent accounting.

The collaboration underscores how shared digital systems and aligned standards can unlock new opportunities for shipping lines, cargo owners, and fuel suppliers to work together in building a cleaner, more resilient maritime industry.
